Would you buy an Av that spent it's whole life in Canada?

In my continuing search for a used Av, I've run across quite a few Avs that were sold in, and spent their previous life in, Canada. These are Avs that I found being sold in Ohio and Michigan. I assume they came in on auction judging from the vehicle history reports I've seen. My major concern with what I will eventually buy is body and frame rust. I am looking for something with under 150K miles, preferably around 100K. I've extended my search area out to 200 miles, so a quick trip to look at condition is not really an option.

Does Canada use road salt and brine as much as Ohio/Penna/Mich?

BC? Sure. It would at least be worth a look.
But anything in the midwest or east coast is probably rotted out.
