I have a water leak inside the cabin from the back seam seal.
As you can see on the photo water is coming from the seal and floor panel start rusting. I have parked my truck front up, but water is still coming and coming.
Does anybody know where this water is coming from?
I have checked midgate and rear window and water is not coming from there. It's coming from behind the seam, but can't see directly where it's from.
I'm planning to replace the seal, but what to solve the problem with coming water. I have cleaned all possible drain holes, but water is still coming.
Please see my photo below

Thank you

Look thru this section for the mulititude of places they had water leaks on 2002s.

Some to look at.
Air condition duct box in engine bay seal against firewall.
Door electrical wire boots
Windshield seals.
front body seams where feet are under carpet
Midgate not shut properly with midgate crossbar.
Rear window.
Midgate seal

To name a few

Thank you for the list of the problems, but I went through the Water Leaks topic and don't have any of these issues.
I found the problem that water is coming through body seam in the back.
Need help to identify why water stays somewhere behind the seam and don't drain out.

that is water ends up... just because it rusts there does not mean it leaks in thru there...

Do you see water come in if you hose underneath?

The water is coming in from the seam. The photo made with face up and water is still coming in.
If I park it face down it will continuously flow from the hole in the seam.

I always recommend picking up the "Avalanche & Escalade EXT Water Management Service Procedures" manual.. It's a great resource for troubleshooting and learning how the water management system is designed to work..

if you are saying the seam is leaking then get re-seal the seam...

I do not understand your issue...

The seam is leaking because water is collecting behind the panels, rust out the metal, made hole and now coming in.
If I re-seal it, the water will rust out the metal again and make a hole.
I'm trying to figure out why water is collecting there and not draining out.
I have checked all drain holes and they are all clean.

Trying to find if somebody had the same problem and was able to solve it.

He was using pic to show where he cut for fuel pump access.... but looks similar to yours.

Thank you guy for helping me.
Looks like I have the same problem. Will drill holes to allow the water to go out.

Hi. Looks like I'm having the same issue. Can you tell me what you did to fix it because I can't see the photos on here anymore and the page that had the answer to the problem won't load. All I know is water is constantly pouring from that rear seam going into the cut out where the fuel pump is.
