Discontinued A/C hose - compressor to condenser

Upon investigating an AC issue, my mechanic found that the AC hose from the compressor to the top of the condenser on my 2002 Avalanche 2500 has a leak. When he called around to find a replacement part, he learned that the part is discontinued and nobody has in stock. Any ideas where I can buy this part or have one made?

Some local auto parts stores canmake new AC hoses if you bring them the old one.

These are not the huge named one... but little mom and pops

Normally a asign in window says they make hydraulic hoses.
