Avalanche Problems

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here:

When making sharp turns at low speeds you hear a click or pop coming from the front tire rods. The dealership says that this is the tire hitting stops, and it is normal. They said they would put grease on it and it would stop. Of course, this did not happen.

I heard that there was a recent recall on tie rod bushings on the Avalanche that might possibly cause a popping noise in the front end.

Any Ideas?
