Have tie down straps, will travel.  Last year it was moving stuff out of my Father-in-law's place.  This year it's moving stuff out of my Mom's house - which will hopefully close this week.  This is just today's load.  I meant to take pictures on other trips but we were just in get it done mode.

A couple weeks ago I filled the bed with 40 10" concrete blocks and 10 cap blocks. While driving to work the next morning, I thought the steering was a little loose and was wondering what was going bad after just replacing tie rods and getting an alignment. Then I got to doing the math. Cap blocks weigh 25lbs each. So that's 250lbs. 10" blocks weigh 45lbs each. So that 1800lbs. Total just in the bed is over a ton. Then counting my tools in the back seat. Yeah, I had a little bit of weight.

I was hauling the block to our new house to level the camper we bought:

hauled 12 boulders for landscaping.  Took all I had to roll them up ramps.  Tires were very low.  Those things are heavier than they look.
Can you say hernia?
You should see the indents in my back yard after rolling them off. Shocked

Well this did not happen today. Iíve been to mad at myself to write or look at it.
My small trailer is down for a rebuild. My other is full and Iím not at a point to
unload it yet. Checked U-Haul their enclosed trailer are not high enough.
So not raining off I go with the AVY.
I will not go into the all the problems. I picked up my tools at work, frustrated and
just wanting to get out of there. Iím generally the type of a guy that over does it
when securing things down.
Well not good enough this time.
This about 8:30pm. Get loaded off I go. Got about a ľ mile turning on to the freeway on ramp.
SMACK WTFFFF.
Pull over there is my tool box tipped over laying against the sail. Lucky I had the side cabinet bolted
to the top and bottom boxes or the top box would fallen on to the street. Nothing I could do by myself
so off to home I go. Made it.
Could not sleep how the $%%^&& Iím going to get this up so I can unload it the back rollers on the
bottom box are all most ripped off. Used ropes, come along, tie down straps, chain and a tree to get
it up the best I could. Took me all day.
My son and a friend came over about 5:30 so in the dark we slowly took tools, drawers, and boxes apart
put into my garage.
I do have to give thanks to the Lord above. It never rained.
Someday maybe pics of my stupidity.

Craigslist special found an older 5hr wood chipper for $50. Would not start may need carb work.
Brought it home changed plug fired on first pull. Will need some tinkering. He purchased a bigger one
from his neighbor just think he did not want to mess with it.
So the boss is happy she has her trimming chomper.

Whoops this should be in ""Post Pictures Of What You Tow". If this needs moves so be it.
Thanks.

Brought it home on Monday what a mistake. Tried to tell the wife letís wait until Tuesday.

Take in mind this is eclipse day. Our poor country side road was like a freeway with everyone
trying to bypass the main roads. ĎOí it will be OK we are leaving around 2pm.  2 hours to go
11 miles to the bank. banghead Then another 35min. about 5 miles to get to the trailer. banghead

Took about 45min. to get home.  Thumbs up!
