Tried the search for this, but got no results...any of you ever hear of the Prologixx programmer that's selling on ebay?  Costs $49.99 and of course I'm skeptical right off the bat....

I couldn't find anything. Can you attach the http for the ebay item?

I went to ebay and was searching hypertechs when I discovered this thang.  Just get in the programmer section in ebay motors and search prologixx.  Kinda looks like I made it in my garage, but I know nothing about it or the company.  They are an ebay co.

I was searching through E-Bay and found this item - a Google search came back with this CAFCNA post.?

Here's the link for anyone interested-

It looks like the device changes the resistance value the computer "sees" for engine operating temp.? Don't know how effective or good this is on newer cars - but people used to ground out the temp sensor on Tuned Port Camaro and Firebirds years ago when at the track.? Computer thought the car was colder than it realy was and richened up the fuel mix for a little bit more power.

richened up the fuel mix for a little bit more power.

None of these tricks work for more than a few seconds. Our O2 sensors and computer are constantly adjusting the air fuel ratio to keep it at 14.7:1.
