mine is a Silverado Surban Avalanche 2500 beauty
If you have $273.00 + $25.00 shipping I will ship a front receiver for a 1500 though 2500 with or without cladding.

Do you know if there's difference with the 2500 and 3500 chevy pickups?? Reese makes one for the Silverado? 2500 and 3500.? Haven't called to find out if it will fit the Av.?Check out Hitchfinder.comHighland Ranger said:The Curt unit does not work - apparently the 2005 Suburban 1500 and Avalanche 2500 have different frame rails than the Silverado.
Basically the thing has two bolt holes but the frame only has one (where the tow hook mounts facing down.

Although it looks like it may fit, I haven't got to ordering it yet.
If anyone does, be interested in pics and hearing about the install (particularly if you have to cut cladding.)

Both companies helpful and nice people - Hitchsource promptly refunded my money including shipping when the hitch did not fit.
