Here's mine last weekend on the beach of Outer Banks NC. Blacked out bumpers, color matched grill, '11 Silverado rims dipped black.

I would love to take mine when I visit my mom, she lives in Kill Devil Hills.  Awful long drive just to play in the sand though.  My phone is telling me it is 2500 miles. :D

Hey. I'm new to AV's. I just got this 2002 Z-71 Loaded with 133k. I cannot believe how well the previous owner maintained her. Drives like new, really!

I've cleaned it up & added Bedlined 22"s

Here's a few updated shots after I had a few of my buddies cut, buff & seal the paint for me.  I'm ready for winter now❄️.

A farewell to BOTH of my Avalanches.  :'(  I made a huge and difficult decision to sell/trade both of my Avys for a truck with much more power and towing capabilities...yes even more so than my 2500 Avy.  I'm off to building my K5 blazer rock crawler and towing with my new 2016 Ram 2500 with the Cummins.  Here in Colorado, that turbo diesel power sure makes a difference at altitude.
I will miss my Camo Z71 and all the goodies, blood, sweat, tears and love that I put into that truck over the years.  Its a rare Avy build and some lucky lad (or lass) will enjoy the heck out of it.  I'm sure I'll see it running the roads here in Colorado possibly as it went to a dealership in Colorado Springs.  I won't miss the fuel economy of that 8.1 liter.  Good gawd!  :o  I'll check in from time-to-time as so many of you are great people and I enjoy viewing the mods, pics and stories.  Y'all enjoy those Avys...I know I sure did.  Onward!

Like your stance! Do you know what lift is on it? Thanks.

Thanks!  It has shock brackets in the front that are about 2" long and a 2" spring spacer in the back.  I have since put new tires and wheels on it

Got this today from the guy I sold it to about 19 months ago. He's up to 204k miles now. Looks like he's taking care of it. He's still loving it. Plans on getting the rockers fixed as you can see in the pix the rust running down on the running board. Lots of days I wished I would have sold one of the other ones instead of this one but just couldn't bear to watch it rust away after all the work I did or had done to it.  :'(

My new 2004 Avalanche.  Yep it's an unusual color.....  dark green, and it doesn't have the odd-to-me looking cladding.

2002 Avy...265,000 miles and not a spot of rust.  Runs like it was new.  Someday I'll figure out how to post pics here...System won't allow it and maybe this is my 5th post???

Here's my Avy. 2002 Z71 I bought it new as a company vehicle and kept it around over the years even after having several other company vehicles, just always loved the Avy. She's been sitting at my beach house in the salt air for the last 5 years and was a mess. I sunk a bundle into bringing her back and dropped her off today for paint and body. I replaced all the brake lines, brakes, rotors, calipers. New battery, window regulator, alternator, water pump, rear diff cover and all belts and hoses. Mods so far: amber DRL, blacked out power bar (kept the gold bow tie for posterity), Bora 2" wheel spacers rear, (may add a 1 1/2" set front), painted the calipers red, started painting the frame and underside, new bottom seat cushion and seat frame driver side, detailed engine compartment, 285 60 R 18 Toyo Open Country tires, Black XD rims.I used refinish restorer on the cladding after contemplating many choices. I'll see how it holds up and next would be the Krylon.
She's at the body shop getting the driver rear wheel well replaced and the pass front fender repaired as well at the hood tip, then on to detail shop for compound. Future mods are new Pioneer Apple carplay stereo and speakers/sub, need to fix loose headliner on the moon roof panel, reinstall the tailgate cap, new tailgate handle.
She drives great, solid just as I remembered and I'm liking the look so far. It's great to be back in her!

Posting a before/after pic and photo bucket link for more stuff.
