So much for needing racks?  I'm going to try that this up coming weekend minus the canoe, is there anything I should be concerned with  ???

Actually, I have a Thule Rack on top of the factory rack, and I have the canoe loader connected to the trailer hitch.  It swivels at the "T" to allow easy loading on the roof.  The light blue kayak is just stuffed in the bed.

I ordered 2 sets of Thule Racks for the top my factory racks through Eastern Mountain Sports and hope to have them before this weekend.? I have been going out with two of the three kayaks that we have been using in the bed of the truck, laying the back seats down but that's been a big pain in the butt limiting space for all the other stuff that I need room for, not to mention totally illuminating the back seats for additional passengers.?

Hi Rob,

Nice Photo, looks like fun!  We were at Sculpted Rock in Groton, NH just a few weeks ago.  Worth checking out if you've never been there before.

That is exactly where we road thru on those powerlines.
It is located off the Left side of the powerlines in the pic
just over the 2nd to last ridge in the distance.
Here are some more from that day .....

Hey Rob ~

Beautiful pictures, looks a great time!
Thanks for sharing!

Rod

These are from Moore's Falls in Litchfield, NH on 3A taking about a month or so ago.  Beautiful place for a walk and if you're lucky you'll spot a Great Horned Owl that has been nesting there for years.

Rod ...
Yours are nice also. It seams we travel in the ame areas and will
most likely cross paths soon. I use 3A alot to go up to Manchie HD.
Here is a pic from last weekend just North of Jaffery Center on Rt.202
The young girl is my neighbor's and it was her 1st ride on a motorcycle.
She rode with me on the big red dresser. We rode both days and
she logged 200 miles total and LOVED it. A future BIKER for sure.
We stopped at the HD dealer in Nashua and bought her, her 1st
HD shirt ......

Hey Rob ~

Nice bikes!? I was never one for riding a bike but always have respect for those who do.? You're right, sounds like there's a very good chance we could cross paths someday.? We're heading to the Stratham Fair is this weekend. John Cafferty and Beaver Brown will be playing!? Great Band!? Try to make it if you can.

Off to work...running late, half day though, heading up to York, ME for the night.

Have a great weekend!

Rod

Talk about SMALL world .....
Here I am typing back and forth with Rod saying how someday we
might run into one another .....
Now my Wife knows nothing about this whole post or conversations.
She goes to her hairdresser up in Windham with our AV and lo and
behold another AV pulls in parks behind hers ...... LMAO ......
I'll have to let Rod explain how he put 2 and 2 together and found
out it was my Wife .....

Hey Rob ~

Small world buddy!  I pulled into the parking lot of the place I get my hair
cut and parked behind a beautiful white avalanche.  Then went inside and
as I was passing the counter noticed a very pretty gal (your wife) standing
there waiting to pay for what she just had done.  I couldn’t help but notice
the beautiful art work on her back of the kittens and complimented her on it.
I then told her that my girlfriend has three cats and that I would be sure to
tell them what I saw.  You wife then told me that she has 3 cats, a dog and
a horse but that she no longer rides the horse and that she rode the Harley
showing me a picture of it on her key change.  I realized she was starting
to look familiar to me and asked her if she rides through Nashua, her reply
was yes.  At that moment the thought of you came to mind and I asked her if
her husbands name was Rob, when she replied yes, I then asked her if her name
was Lynn, she replied yes once again….so there you go buddy, you were right,
our paths crossed and I’m sure we will again.

Anyway, Maine was nice followed by a cookout late Saturday, finishing the weekend
off on Sunday by going to Hampton Beach for dinner the Stratham Fair.  The
Fair was great and the band was even better!  Never got home till 1:30AM. Planned day
off for recovery.  Busy summer.  Water Country this Saturday (received 25 tickets from
Pepsi, I have them as one of my customers at my place of business and am always getting
something from them in way of tickets) follow by ColdPlay concert Saturday night.

I have some photos that I will post of this past weekend when I have a few extra
minutes.

Tell Lynn I said hi!

Chat Soon,
Rod

Nice Photos Z, thanks for sharing them!

Hey Zee71nh,

We were just up to Sebago for the day on July 23rd.  We saw Av's all over the place while we were up there.  Didn't see any ambers though.  We're also headed up to Sebago lake for a week at the end of August.  Can't wait.  While your up there check out this new Italian Restaurant called Montebello Ristorante located on 1227 Roosevelt Trail (Rt.302) in Raymond, ME.  They had great food and live entertainment on the weekends. A little pricy, but they also have take-out too.  By the way, Thursday night is Lady's Frozen T-shirt contest, live music, and half price appetizers

I'll have to post PICS when we get back from our Vacation.

Lake Massabesic ~ Auburn, NH
Excellent place for hiking, kayaking and Picnicking!
