To those who installed Westin Bull bars on the recovery hook location, a better bracket to use are the 2 x 2 x 1/4 angle bars, with the open angle facing out.
This configuration allows the bull bar not to touch the bumpers.
Also I was able to reinstall the recovery hooks, but I had to grind it a bit and install the left side on the right and the right side on the left so both of them are facing inwards.
