Defrosting Running Boards

Maybe you could route some airflow from the engine compartment down toward the steps? How about actually heating the brackets or step?
How about a running board washier like the window washers? You'd need a little more pressure, but same idea.
I think these are pretty clever mods. :0:

Here's a thought on how to accomplish this :0: ... Polaris places a "radiator" under each foot rest of their snowmobiles and circulates coolant through them. End result, the engine is cooled and the snow melts off the foot rests.

Seems like it would be easy enough to get a couple of these radiators, mount one under each running board and tie them into a heater hose.

These "radiators" are made of extruded aluminum, not at all like a automotive type radiator. They're very durable.

Any thoughts ???
