I dropped off my av on Tuesday to get the gator back treatment at one of the local Chevy dealerships. The service adviser was very helpful, he even went out of his way to get this taken care of (unlike S.R. CHEVY banghead). If all goes well I will post the name and phone number of the dealership. I will try to post some before and after pics. if I can figure out how to.

I got my truck back today and it looks awsome. I will post pics if I can figure out how to reduce the photo size of my cam, all my pics come to be 400kb or more.

Usually your camera software lets you resize for e-mail purposes, for example.

Also, you can put larger images in a gallery here and link to them.

Yes it was covered under warranty. From what I was told I was one of the First to get it done under the new t.s.b. I did get the original color, but I am more than happy with it. As far as the pics I will try to re-size tonight and see what happens. I still need to take after pics, but it has been raining.

As it stands now, GM isn't covering it for a color change.  It's being returned to the as-delivered color.

She is right its NOT a recall..  Its a TSB and all dealers might not have it yet..  They should in a few more weeks..  There will be a lot more information coming out shortly..

I WENT TO LOOK AT THE NEW TAHOE TODAY AND WHILE I WAS THERE I DECIDED TO STOP AT THERE SERVICE DEPT. AND TALK TO THEM ABOUT THE GATORBACK. NOW THIS ISN'T WERE I PURCHASED   MY AV BUT FIURED I'D SEE WHAT THEY WOULD SAY. NOW THIS GUY TOLD ME IT WOULDN'T BE A  PROBLEM IF I HAD BOUGHT IT THERE AND I SHOULD GO TO THE DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM AND IF THEY GIVE ME PROBLEMS TO CALL GM AND THEY WILL HANDLE THE DEALER. I MADE SURE TO BRING A COPY OF INFO THAT Z66 BUTCH SENT ME. THIS GUY TOLD ME TO ONLY SPEAK WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT IT WILL GET DONE NO PROBLEM......, SO I'M OFF MONDAY TO HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT.

OK I think I was able to get some pics up in the album. Just go to album and search gatorback. I was not able to figure out how to re-size them so I could post here banghead. As far as needing to have the work done at the dealer the av was bought at is BS. I called around until I found a dealer that seem to be helpful. Luckily we have about 8 within 20 miles of were I live.
