Oooh that's gotta be fun. :)

Todd, I'll try to call you mid week or so.

Before that, if folks want to swing through Seligman (Route 66 tourist trap), there's several food stops in town. Perrhaps a malt or ice cream cone at the "Snow Cap" on the East side. They're used to crowds from tour busses stopping there.

Perhaps I can hitch a draft from the group as folks drive by my place. (Another 12 miles west out of Seligman.) `Join up for a few miles until Kingman. :)

Here's a few links for folks who use the cheaper fuel.. :)

As per Saturday, 6-17:

Loves at Exit 59: $2.99.9 (no direct link)
Flying J In Kingman - Andy Devine (Exit 53 - Go a short ways North.) $2.82.9
Pilot @ Exit 9 / Havasu exit: $2.85.9

All are regular fuel prices.

Have fun!

Thanks for the tips, Sperry... Might stop on by on the way

Matt,
`Out of your way if you're heading to PHX on I-10. It's the trek from Flagstaff to Havasu.

If you want to leave Flagstaff early, you can drop by my place and I can show you some Gross Electrical work!  :8:

(85 Mi to the West)

Have fun & a safe trip!

I saw these guys just after I came across the dam this morning.

WoW!
I have a fair variety of wildlife here but I hadn't seen any of those in this area. I'm not that far away from there..

I see they're tagged...

Sounds like a kick!
I gotta save my vacation time for the family reunion in Eastern Oregon.
Post a lot of pixs!

Meantime, I'm tracking my road bike riding pals in the Race Across America...

We just got back from GM's Desert Proving Ground Facility

What a fabulous oppurtunity...Toured the facility...

Drove on some of the tracks...including the banked ovals

Watched some hi performance driving skills...

They don't allow cameras inside, but an employee was allowed take photos which should be posted next week, after the event is over.

We should have some pics later today from the outside of the facility once I can get to a terminal to upload and resize.

The carAVan to and from was awesome...All those trucks and ambers...beautiful

Lots of credit to the Arizona Avalanche Club for this National event, it's only the first day...can it get any better?

Yeah, you bet it will? :B:

There are some pics posted in the DPG thread. Since Ro isn't here, I jumped on the chance to be the first one to post pics!  >:D

And while it isn't an Av, it is pretty cool; had to post a pic of the lifted Hummer in the hotel parking lot

Is this one of Abuletio's Warm Tacos or is this actually Our Man In The Field?
index.php

Maybe one of YakMan's infamous Flux Capacitors in the flesh?

The Arizona Avalanches group has done an AWESOME JOB!!!!!! This is a well organized GTG with each day appearing to top the previous! The welcome packet was fabulous! Great job on recruiting the sponsors, too

As already mentioned, we have already been to GM Proving Grounds, which was truly exciting!
We just returned from the park where all the members were "test" driving the 2007 Avalanche, which is a very nice ride!
Now it is off to the raffle meeting!

If you still have some available time, come on down to Arizona and be a part of this wonderful event!!! Even if for only a day

Just wanted to thank everyone for putting on such a wonderful event, I have had a blast so far.
Arizona a

I saw them in the same spot when I was visiting Vegas & Arizona back in 1989.

I was in awe because I am an Aries and have always loved Big Horn Sheep.

So much so, that I have a Tattoo of one on my left shoulder.

Here are some pics I took.
