Did the same deal. Well worth it. I went chrome though. I am not impressed with the Westin driving lights so I think I am going with the PIAA 520's.

If you looks at my pic I posted earlier you can get a look at the chrome 520's on the chrome bar.

An excellent choice!  :1:

Mr Glass, who makes your bull bars?  They are fairly unique, and I think they'd look sweet on my '07.

Last month I installed a Westin Bull Bar ( and getting tired of waiting for my FREE Westin driving lamps ) so I have been reading posts, articles and manufacturers WWW sites on PIAA's , KC's and Hella's. The final  choice I made was the PIAA 520's ( #5293 ). Several have noted the need to either realign, change position or modify the  steel " cases " on the round 520's to get them to properly fit and align on the Westin BB. .

The "kicker" that made me jump on these PIAA's is that Amazon.com is offering a $20 instant rebate ( Save $20 on purchases of $99 or more on items sold by Amazon.com in our Automotive Parts & Accessories Store by entering promotional code ILW7MGWS at checkout - good until 1/31/2007  ). This makes the net cost for the 520's / #5293's at $169  with FREE SHIPPING.

Yep, the 520's rock gaurd do hit the top corner of the Westin bar... some have said they sanded it down or cut the gaurds some to make it fit properly.

I haven't done anything to modify mine and yes the gaurds make them point a little too low to be really effective.  Taking the gaurds off solves that, but I don't like the look nearly as much.

I will have to get around to modifying the gaurds...

You could always install the westin lights behind the grill, like this....  By the way, the 520s still throw off a lot of light even when they are pointed downward, they are much brighter than my stock fogs...

Nope, the lights were too much for the camera, so I'm sure it toned all of the lights down.  The ambers that are on in the picture are the markers/parking lights (I don't have the FDRL mod).

WOW, it's like someone has espn, I just left a local 4x4 shop and inquired about a low profile brush gaurd, they pull out a westin book show me the Bull Bar and I was sold. They qouted me 450 plus tax and my heart sunk. They went on to say it was stainless and chrome plated with a lifetime warrenty and that was the reason for they hefty price tag. So I get home turn on the computer head right to CAFCNA do a search and this pops up. WOW time to do some surfing for more info before I purchase.

If you shop around you should get the Westin SS ones for around 300-350, look for someplace that offers free shipping.

With my Bull Bar, you lose the hooks and pockets. I'm trying to figure out a way to get them back on. I just need to spend some time on it.

I got mine for $150 from a member on here. They pop up every once in a while for sale, look in the classified section. Check EBay as well.
