02' Avalanche Plastic Cladding removal

I have an 02' Z66 Avalanche which is blue/gray with the gray plastic on the truck. I was wondering if there was a way to remove the gray parts of the truck and have it sold metal all the way around the truck..because I want to put a Sarona body kit on the truck, but I know that wouldn't look right if it was blue/gray. It wouldn't look right. Behind the plastic their are holes in the metal for the clips that hold the cladding on. Also the metal is curved inward behind the plastic and wouldn't look right without the cladding.
 
75cent,

There are a few posts in here that talk about removing the cladding.  Try using the search along the top to see what pops up.  The best I can recall is they are held on by clips and 3M tape
 
There are body kits for a cladded avy already...
 
Look in this sectionfor some threads on the Cladding body kits..

Valenca is one that comes to mind..

there is one other I think
 
Always interested in seeing the AV after an owner is creative...make sure you posts pics if you go this route....you should find a wealth of info on this site to help!  and  :welcome: 75centz  :wave:
