Hey DS

I need :help:. I am trying to install a KSC-SW1 Kenwood Powered Sub. I printed out the wiring detail and compared it with my harnesses. Only a couple of the wires match. I need a remote wire, a rear left and right speaker wire both neg and pos.

Here is what my harnesses have
Top Harness
orange, green, gray, brown, black, Lt green, Lt green, tan, green

Bottom Harness
brown, brown, blue, black, green with white stripe, green, purple

This is looking at the harness left to right

Any help would be really appreciated :B:

The pink wire is part of the on star plug.  What are the other wires for on this plug?  Are they all on star specific or are they part of another system?  Also, video-capable devices require you to have the park brake on and/or trans in "p".  I converted to a manual trans, so there is no "p", unless I don't want my DRLs to work(selector set to "2nd").  I thought if I simply grounded the park brake wire from my new HU, it would think the brake was on.  That worked until I put the dash back together, then it wouldn't show video again.  Perhaps a short in there somewhere? Any suggestions?

Thanks, it turns out there is a problem with a micro-processor in my receiver.  It doesn't always recognize the park brake.  It can't always be duplicated, and is an intermittent problem.  I'll have to contact the seller.

Well, the on-line car audio dealer exchanged my faulty radio for a new one and I installed it today.  When my boss arrived with the car hauler to take my Av to his garage to finish the intercooler work for me...it wouldn't start.  It was absolutely dead.  I've had a battery tender on it and the lights are bright, but absolutely nothing happening in the starting department...no clicks, no grunts...nothing.  Dead silence.  So, now that I have a nice, new DVD/Nav/etc system, and I had to disconnect the onstar, I am wondering if the stock radio and/or onstar were tied into the computer.  Any ideas anyone?

Is it in park  ???  Sorry I had to ask  :2:  try to start it in neutral.... if that does not work WITH YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKE try to start it in all the positions.

are they wired through the radio?  Just asking because the radio is the only thing I changed.

No, but you could have knocked somthing loose  ??? Are you getting 12v at the starter when the key is turned to start?
