I was just thinking about this yesterday when I realized I almost never have mine locked

Am I being irresponsible or just lazy?

One of them has emergency gear in it , but the other one it seems the only time I lock it is when I have beer in there  :cheers:

Mine is always locked

I hope you lock yours;
now that you told the world it is unlocked....

price a replacement panel or a saddlebag.  Once you realize how quick they can be stolen, you might want to lock them.

I leave my driver side unlocked often, never thought about someone taking the lid like they would a tailgate. I always lock it if I'm in an unfamiliar location. I'll leave beer in there unlocked, my friends will tell me if they "borrowed one".

Important stuff is in the passenger side bin locked.

Locked, it was a year before I opened them just to see what was inside

I cleaned out all of the free swag from NOPI 2k6 the day before NOPI 2k7

Drivers side is unlocked = train horn compressor, maglight

Passenger side is locked = tow straps, hitch, jumper cables, tie down straps

Would keeping it unlocked with a Hide-a-key taped to the lid be a bad thing?

:laugh:
