Oil Drain Plug

Does anyone know the part number for or where I can get the Oil Drain Plug, for my 2007 LT 5. 3 Avalanche?

I would think any auto parts store would carry them

They are an M12 x 1.75 plug. they're fairly universal. Many different part numbers from numerous suppliers out there. I don't know the actual GM/Delco number, but the Dorman replacement is 65430. I bought one of these and it works fine on my 08 as the number I was given by my dealer (GM-1156258 leaked when installed. Oddly enough, the Dorman catalog shows 11562588 as a crossover for their part 65430, but side by side they are different, the seal on the Dorman in not recessed into the head like the GM one (that leaked). I'm an idiot and poured mine into the 250 gallon recycle container off the top of the drain pan so needed to replace it. If someone tells you 11562588 is the number, I would forgo getting one and get a Dorman or similar without the recessed seal.

Thanks Calicak89...I've got a leak at the plug, and I'm hoping that a new plug and gasket/seal takes care of the problem. I feared the worst when I saw some tiny oil spots on the garage floor.

Edit: Just checked both amazon and ebay...they both say that part number will not fit the 2007 avalanche, but does fit the 2008

That seems odd to me, I would have assumed the pan on your 07' was the same as the 08' maybe it isn't. good luck.
Now I kind of want to pull the plug on my 13' and my 08' and put them side by side to see if they are the same

Thanks, I saw those. I know Amazon can be wrong sometimes, so I thought I would ask if anyone had a part number. Probably be better off going to my local autozone and get one.

Talk about Amazon being wrong, I was sent a thermostat labeled as a throttle body.
