with servo's you notice faster and firmer 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. This servo will give your transmission 50% more apply pressure, just what you need to keep from burning your transmission up under heavy load situations

The servos apply and release the band.  The band is applied in 2nd and 4th gear - released in 1st and 3rd.  The band secures a shell that is free to rotate in 1st and 3rd, and by holding it still in 2nd and 4th allows the planetary gear sets to do their magic.

The PCM has programmed shift times, as well as "starting" shift pressures.  Shift trims are "learned" such that the PCM tries to hit the programmed shift times.  Without changing the programmed shift times, the PCM will try to undo the effects of the bigger servos.  You will probably gain some life for the band, but probably not much, and it isn't usually the first thing to go in these transmissions anyway.

yeah I fully aware what and how they work >:D  this was my old setup which I was managing with HP tuner software

-Transgo 4l60e shift kit
-4L60e billet 2nd superior super servo
-4L60e billet 4th superior super servo corvette
-4L60e 2500-2800 stall torque converter
-HD Sunshield
-5 pinion planet gears

My downfall was not upgrading the output shaft.  :E:

I'll have to find my timeslips from last summer at Gateway's 1/4 which were low 15s.

Somehow managed to beat a Camaro by over 2 seconds!    >:D
