I was wondering if any of you insiders have any idea when the 0% financing for 60 or 72 mos is coming back?  I currently have a 04 Trailblazer and I am in the process of selling it!  I am going to contact GMAC since I have currently 0%, and see if there is a way I can transfer ownership of the loan!  I am currently up-side down on my loan!  Otherwise I would buy one now!

If GM does the 0 percent financing, I would look for it to happen until June, when they usually run that program.  I bought my '06 in July last year on the last day of the 0 percent offer.

that would be nice...
thanks for the heads up

did u buy it under a lock & roll program?  for the few who did, they can trade their vehicles in and get the same rate they did under the last car loan conditions (assuming credit/dti are still the same)... if not... unfortunately right now that 0 for 60 or 72 may not happen for a while :(

What kinda credit score do you have to have to get 0%?

tier A, B & C's get it if it's available... i've seen scores in the low 600's get it, but then again, they've had pretty clean credit, low DTI, and the ltv was w/in an acceptable area....

**

DTI - debt to income
LTV - loan to value

I see. Always wondered how that work.

A few dealers told me maybe mid summer early fall for 0%.  I got the 0% in 04 for the 72 hour sale.  Is that the same as the lock & roll program?

GM Debuts Interest Lock-In Program?

November 11, 2004

General Motors has unveiled what it calls its "Lock 'n' Roll" program, which lets consumers lock in a low interest rate not only on their current vehicle purchase, but on their next purchase as well.

Under the promotion, which runs through the end of November, qualified consumers can get low finance rates on two consecutive vehicle purchases covering up to 10 years. The low rates are available only on selected vehicles and to buyers with good credit ratings.

i'm guessing nov 11 - nov 30 '04 purchases... i don't remember... too many programs ago for my tiny little brain... here's the rest of the article...
