0 % For 72 Months ?

Not yet, but I'm definately interested too. My dealer said that the new promotions program was going to last from Nov 1st through Jan 2nd. They're always making tweaks in the middle, but seems kinda early aside from the fed 0.5% rate cut already.

Keep me in the loop if ya hear anything.

0% for 36 months on 2003's, 60 months on 2002's thru Jan 2 is the latest official GM line that I'm aware of. Though from what I've seen, I think that local dealers may have the option of subsidizing additional options. Maybe that's what's going on in the case you heard.

i heard that 72 month thing also, actually went into the dealer to inquire and he said it applied to the express vans and a couple of the other van models only. he offerred me the 60 months for the last 02 av he had on the floor here a couple of weeks ago and the rest is history.

0% for 72 months on a 2003 would have me seriously looking at a yellow NF when they arrive! Of course, by the time yellow is available we may be back to 6%. Oh, well, I didn't want to have to start stripping the aftermarket parts off of my 2002 anyhow. :cautious:

A simple switch....come on steel..you could have the first yellow Av on the boards.......peer pressure is  :B:

i wish, i told the dealer that i wanted to go for the 2000$
cash back incentive cause it brings the total price of my fully loaded animal to about $35,200. including tax license and all those other wacky sur-charges.
no interest for 6 years would be nice though.

FYI

I had my local dealer tell me this tonight.. He said they are doing that now on new vehicles. AT least in my region anyway.

Other lenders are even going as far as 84 months.

But yeah GM in particular is starting to do 72 months... this is a very recent change... Guess they are getting at least a hair more desperate for sales. Can only be good for us. ;D

Without a doubt vehicle sales have slumped recently...I figure GM is trying to counteract this with attractive offers and incentives to keep the consumer coming in....not a bad idea....most of the major auto manufactures seem to be doing this.....survival of the fittest.... :B:

Wether it comes to pass or not, it will be too late for us. We already have ours at home and doubt they would refinance it at this point to get the 0% at 72 months. I can only hope it lasts until we are ready for our second AV. :D
