So i have an interesting issue. I purchased 3 HID kits, one for low beams, high beams and of course fogs. Now, installed all three and only low beams and fog works. High beams do not. Let me put it this way, only one set will kick on either high or low but not both when plugged in. So when i have low beam HID in only the regular high beams will work. If i leave the High beam HID in i can only use the regular low beams. No effect of FOGs. I did try the relay harness for both just to not have to use the default harnesses but that didnt fix it.

Any thoughts?

Are you trying to make all lights to come on at the same time.

Not sure what you are asking. Very confusing...

Normal operation...
Fog lights can run on their own...
Low beams can run on their own..
Low beams can run with fogs.
High beam will only run on its own. Will NOT run with low beams or fogs.
You CAN do a modification to change this but that is the normal configuration.

Each set of lights needs to run off its own harness. You will blow bulbs or ballasts if you don't use a harness if they light at all. If you bought cheap HID kits the harnesses they give you are often crap with well undersized wiring. The issue as explained to me is the initial startup draws too much power for the factory wiring and even though you are running a 35 watt bulb in a system for 50 watts the initial start up may be considerably more for a very short period of time so the harness is required in most cases.

Beyond that HID's do not like being turned on and off a lot so they make very poor high beams and nearly as bad fogs. Expect to burn the bulbs out often on them. BiXeon setups are projectors that have a shutter that creates a cutoff that doesn't blind anyone for the "low beam" and the "high beam" just moves the shutter out of the way.

One last note.
When running HID's please practice safe lighting and only use with projectors otherwise you WILL be blinding other drivers and can cause an accident.

they are all separate. i dont have the ALL-On mod or whatever that is. All my lights are factory in terms of operation. My HID works on the fog lights. It works great. Let me try and explain it better. I installed HIDs in low beams and high beams and they each have their own harness. Not the cheap stuff either. I can turn on the HID low beam. High beams do NOT turn on. If i place my normal bulb (high beam) back in it works. IF i use my regular low beam and HID high beam all works.

I know way back when I had my 03 I had to "flip" the plug over when I plugged my ballasts in to essentially reverse the polarity to get them to work. Worth a try.

Yep, the polarity is likely reversed on the ballast harness. You need to cut the little notch off the plug coming form the ballast that slides onto the bulb to allow the installation of it onto the bulb after being rotated 180 degrees.

i know about the polarity, but that still wont let them come on. Keep in mind, i can have HID low beams in and plug in HID high beams but those wont turn on (even with harness and corrected polarity). It is puzzling the crap out of me. All the kits do work when i connect them directly to the battery through the harness. Which is essentially the same concept in the car with the harness....

I may just try a different brand and return the one i have.
