04 questions

I just got my 04 AV 4x4 and love it.. I did not get the towing package so I installed a after market hidden hitch was not to bad at all.. I think I got a a good deal through JCWhitney 99.00 no reciver but I already had that .. The qustion I have is what type and where do i need to go to get a wiring harness.. I will be pulling a 99 bass tracker 17.5ft. I see the wires that I hook into mounted to the frame I just want to make sure i order the right harness.

For my 03 which I purchased this year, I had to go to the dealer. Maybe someone else knows where to go to get a wiring harness.

walmart, auto part store. hitch store. If its like the 03 it just needs a plug.

Is the 2500 only available as 4wd now? That's the only choice I see on Edmunds.com.

I thought that 2500s had always been 4x4s. They were 4x4 but not Z71

No, you could get a 2500 2 wheel drive up until this year.

Check your local UHaul, they sell a lot of hitch related items.

Yup, for 2004, they discontinued the C2500 (2wd 3/4 ton) Avalanche. Mine's probably one of the last ones, as it was a late 2003 build.
