07 LS (Jump Seat) Conversion:

I am looking to upgrade my jump seat in my 07 and was wondering if anyone knows if the jump seat from the 07 and newer Silverado 1500 LT's will fit I really like the clean look of them and I have found a few of them at a great price just don't know if they will fit or not, and cant seem to find much about 07 and newer jump seat swaps on the forum here.

Not sure how new of a vehicle swap you are considering but if the platform has changed you may have issues with mounting points etc. in addition you need to remember the AV is based on an SUV platform such as Suburban, EXT or maybe some Tahoe parts interchange. It is not built on the Silverado pickup platform.
All of that being said just about any mod can be done with enough time, money, tools and skill. Best way to see your starting point is to measure room and mounting points then compare measurements with what you want to put in their place.

Did you ever have any luck upgrading your jumpseat? I want one with storage for my 07 avalanche and am hearing that the 1500, sierra, etc. all fit. Please tell me what you have found.
