100,000 Mile Club

Im at 100,700+/- just did intake gaskets, the dealer is paying for new cats and then Im going to do all the fluids and O2's.

Howdy all, I'm at 99,983, so I'll be joining the club on my way home this evening!

On a side note, I was on a business trip last week in which I rented a car, leaving my Av at the rental office. It was there for a couple days, and it got cold here for the first time this fall (38 was the high when I returned last Thursday). At any rate, my lifters were banging like mad on start-up, and they continued to be loud until the truck was warmed up. I knew that there was a TSB on it, and I already had an appt to see my dealer to get one final inspection before rolling out of warranty, so I called my dealer & told them about the lifters & the TSB. Well, I left it there over night Monday, and the cold air was enough to set them banging again, so I was happy that they could reproduce it. They immediately called me to let me know that they were replacing the lifters, pistons, and rings...UNDER WARRANTY!!! I had 99,788 when I dropped it off.

Timing is everything, right???  >:D

Hit 100k in Late December/Early January,  Probably within 2-3 weeks of the 7th year anniversary of taking  delivery.

My 2002 Z71 is at 156K right now. It was used as a daily driver for 10 years.
Just yesterday I went and purchased a 2012 Ford Focus SE Hatchback - need to be sensible as fuel will only continue to soar and a vehicle with 156k will only need more maintenance and upkeep as days go by.

But the good news - I am keeping the AV along with the new car since its paid for and I'll still need a truck every now and then! I might start saving for a 4" lift kit and new wheel/tires since I won't have to worry about parking garages any longer.

I just hit 165,000 on my avy. just replaced the water pump new tranny for $2,000 and thats about it. Im new to the club and im from Auburn, MA

My '03 Z71 just crossed the 100K mark on a trip last weekend!  Still going strong...  biggest problems I've had that cost me money were the leaking transfer case (ouch) and a new front drivers side hub assembly (not too much $$ but it did fail prematurely IMO)...      the rest were little things here and there...  heated seat elements, a window regulator, etc...

Mine has 130K on it.............but I didn't put it there I bought it like that.

So I guess I don't count!!

Broke 100,000 Dec 2010, 108987 as of now, drive it on weekends, occasionally on fridays. Runs strong, looks good! I'll drive it till it falls apart! Wouildn't mind having a 2013 along with it!
