100,000 Mile Club

My EXT had 116,158 when I got it at the end of April.

Other than a trip down to the Gulf Coast a few weeks ago it has just seen daily computes to work and back.

Already up to 118,400.

About 2,200 miles in the past month.

And every one of them with a big ol' smile on my face.

Just rolled over 100,000 on my camping trip last weekend.  I was SO UPSET that I missed the exact 100,000 mile mark to take a picture haha everyone thought I was crazy.  I've been waiting for that for the last 10,000 miles or so and all the sudden I looked down and I was at 100,003  :beating:  Oh well, 5 is my lucky number so this will have to do...

Same thing happened to me last week while my wife was driving.  It rolled over and I only noticed when it was at 100,030 miles.
 
not sure how new these posts are. Cool to see guys hitting 100k in the first couple of years. I bought my Avalanche used a couple of years ago, I just hit 100k about 2 months ago. Its funny cause I noticed one of the early posts is talking about pictures at 99,999 and again at 100k. I did the same thing for mine!
 
Is there a 120120 mile club?

I was hoping to be driving 120MPH when I took this.  :p

I wanted to put in, too, about my Mexican Truck.  I took it in for service Friday and mentioned my driveway had a bit of oil. My mechanic said it was the water pump going bad. I had it replaced for $300.  A few weeks ago, my wife's '05 Vue with the Honda engine had the same service, only at 70k miles AND she needed a new timing belt. Something I'll never need.
 
I will be turning 130,000 tomorrow.  I will admit, I'm being (really) tempted to get a '13 over the winter.  Just don't think they're the same as the original cladded trucks though, and it still looks really good for a 10 year old truck!

I am just about to hit the 300,000 mile club myself and it has been quite rocky as I travel a minimum of 4,000 miles a month.  I am in the SCA (reniassance fair but with real fighting) and run a mobile period hotel... odd i know but meh, i have fun :)
 
I'm soon to be 16 and I saved and bought myself a Black 04 "Avril" with 124k on it... Now I need to wait for the license. However, while I was cleaning the interior this afternoon a Bobwhite Quail came from nowhere and landed in the truck!
 
Traded in my 03 Z-71 with 131K and got a 04 2500 with 27K. With the big block being thirsty it will only be used when necessary so it might be awhile before she sees 100K  :B:

How are you liking it so far? Is the 2500 also 4x4? Does it drive much different than the 1500?
 
For having 124k on an 8 year old vehicle I have to say not once have I been worried about going somewhere. It's nice to have a truck I can trust (y)
