Hey all!
Just thought I would share my first experience at the Chevy dealer... 5,000 miles on odometer:::
First off, my truck was on the lot for several months before I bought it (new), and most of the horizontal paneling in the back of the truck was slightly dis-colored due to the AZ sun ...
1) 3 Hard Cargo panels: Warranty $1900 plus! ... Other panels/lids on order...
2) Force balanced all 4 Goodyear AT/S tires ... Results: RR=29 ... LR=24 ... RF=19 ... LF=16 ... (Ordered all 4 new!) Warranty $800
3) Rear mid-gate window had a gap in bottom trim... Replaced... Warranty $1,358!
I knew the cargo panels were insane, but
I can't believe list on the rear window is $1358 !
Wholesale is $1018.95 WOW...
No wonder my advisor was smiling... He told me warranty cost was $1200, and I didn't believe him... I looked it up myself... He was right...
Be careful with that rear window folks... It's a doozie!!!
Will be getting the new tires on next week... If they force out the same, service manager said he might consider some Michelins as a replacement. But they don't like jumping brand ... I guess GM doesn't like straying from what they tested the vehicle with from the factory... Brand deviation is a big deal; surprising... Anyways, I'm goin to bed... Laterzzzz
