Thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I know a few people did on the chat board the other night.Coming home from Mississippi hunt i passed a white AV with escort light and 3 big antennas spread out across the top.
Started talking to her on the CB and come to find out that she had received the second Av to come out in Mississippi. She went on to explain that she had 135,000 miles on her AV and has had no problem. Changes the oil every 5000 and keeps up her service work as scheduled.
Told her about the club and we talked a while. She brought up the fuel economy issue and i told her the best i had gotten was in the 19 area, usually mid 18's to lower 19's. She came back and told me that she gets 28 on an average and that she has gotten 32mpg. I am picking up my feet by now. Little later down the road she told me she had got a ticket doing 125mph. We discussed the HP3 that i have and what it does. She said she has not installed anything on her Av and it does not shutdown

Realizing i was in deep s--- as we were running about 85 i slowly started speeding up, she stayed with me till we were right at 100 ,,,,,,,,,,ya know the point where they usually shut down. She started hanging back as i kept on accelarating and when i called her to come on she casually said she was going to hang back and watch the back door............My self i think she found the limiter, but you never know GM could have let one slip through without the programmed speed limiter
Who knows, but a AV that gets 28 mpg on the highway running 80-85 on cruise sounds like never never land to me
Thought you might enjoy the laugh..........now i wonder how many miles did she actually have on the AV, you ever talk to anyone and no matter what you have done they have done it and done it better
