in this pic I can't tell the differance but I bet side by side you could, when I look at the color charts side by side there is very little difference

dayum... I think that link is longer then an AV... >:D
Plus clicking on it don't work... might want to modify it...

I fixed the linky thingy

I like it. It would look even better if half of it wasn't covered up by that....., that plastic stuff. >:D ;)

if it didn't have that plastic stuff it wouldn't be an Av... >:D

(hey if the wbh owners can make comments about the plastic... can't we make comments back? )

Merry Christmas

:D I Love My "Plastic Stuff" ;D

But honestly, it doesn't matter if you own a
2002, 2003, 2004, cladded, WBH, base, loaded,
stock, modded to death, lifted, lowered, Z-66,
Z-71; we all share a common element. We own
one of the most unique, head turning, heart
throbbing vehicles ever built!!!

...so far

There's only one SOM and that's SUNSET ORANGE METALLIC

Your linked pic makes the Sunburst Orange Metallic look too nice. It ain't that purty in real life.

The dealer we got our 2003 Sunset Orange Metallic Av had two 2004 Cavaliers in Sunburst Orange Metallic. There is no comparison. (I should have parked alongside and taken a picture. Too late now.)

Sunburst Orange Metallic is drop dead gorgeous. Sunburst Orange Metallic is just another Sunset Orange Metallic wannabee.

Join the SOM Nation before its too late. It already may be too late for most of you.

Too bad orange glow looks more yellow than orange.

Well at that sticker price, they sure are proud of that baby.

All it really needs is a 6" lift. tires, duals, and of course a Stainless Steel bumper..... >:D

Mike

chad2fw - I have a great MOD suggestion for you. If you get your cladding painted a nice metallic blue, you will have an awesome GATOR AV! ;D

Um kay...let'me think...NO!

I enjoy the looks I get when I drive around Gainesville way too much. People stare, "Wow, that's a tight truck"; then they see my Seminole Head on the back, "Sh*t, He's a Seminole!"

SOM II is more of a Gator Orange anyway. SOM is more like Texas Longhorn Orange.

Yeah tell me about the Texas longhorn color. I love it cause I drive around OK, TX with an OU sticker on the drivers side corner in the back window and just oppposite of that is the upside down longhorn sticker of the horns. >:D

Man as soon as I can get a free chance to take some pics I will be happy to. Most the time I get a chance to get on here I am at work. Between 12 hour shifts for six days in a row, in the process of closing on a house and starting a career enhancement school in Jan, I haven't found the time to get the digital camera out. Soon enough though I will have tons of pictures.

You know what the longhorn symbol looks like, I'm pretty sure being a football fan and all. The rivalry between OU and Texas and pretty much and anyone in the Big 12 against Texas is to hold your extend your pointer finger and your pinky all the way out while having your thumb hold your other two fingers (middle, ring) to your palm. Then presto turn it upside down and you have a make shift bash Texas symbol. >:D

I know what it is silly! :2:

I wanted to see it on your truck!

I lived in Corpus Christi, TX for 8 years, and most of my friends were Aggies. I know how to do the "dead Longhorn" and the "F the Longhorn" (which is the same thing that UofHouston uses as a hand signal - the longhorn sign with middle finger).
