2002 aftermarket radio Onstar none Bose no sound after reinstall of factory rado

So I installed a aftermarket radio in my 2002 avalanche with On star needless to say I got wrong harness at first and ?Hopefully ordered the correct one  in the mean time I?ve hooked my factory radio back up and no sound at all then clock works but no sound any ideas on why and if the correct harness is even worth it at this point I have checked fuses under the hood and also the ones right there drivers door noticed a few popped replaced them and still nothing no have also tried the radio security on off I?m lost at this point and wondering if anyone can point me in a direction that would be great

Con Star in the 2002 AV's are not supported any longer, in other words they are useless. So don't waist your time trying to keep it or hook it up. Same for some of the early 03's after that they changed it..

If you want to install an aftermarket in a 2002 and want to use the existing wiring you will need to bypass the factory amp or you will not have output to the speakers. If your adding an amp and running new wires then you don't need to do anything and the chimes will still work, they don't come from the factory radio.. Search for "amp bypass" in this section, there are lots of threads on it.

You can also convert the dash to a double din and put in a navigation unit if you want, did that to my 02 many years ago..

With the factory radio installed till I get the new harness the speakers still have no sound I?ve checked fuses checked the security on the radio and still nothing is there something I missing

Ok 02 Avalanche tried installing aftermarket radio well after countless hours reading forums on this page I?ve discovered that I have the wrong harness in the mean time while getting the correct one i RE-installed the factory radio and FmL no sound at and yes everything worked previously  I?ve checked fuses I?ve turned the security off on the radio and nothing wondering if there is something else I?m missing and if investing in the correct harness and pointers would be grateful

Hard to say, sounds like you checked everything there is.. Only thing I can think of is to go back and check it all again. There is more than one connection on the back of the radio.. Double check the balance and front to back settings, I had the same issue once and because one side was out and the balance was more to that side there no output to the good speaker..
