I have a battery drain problem I'm trying to track down. Reading the posts here, it looks like the radio and the instrument cluster are more likely than other things to be responsible. I've gone over the fuse maps in the owner's manual and I am very confused. There are multiple fuses that are described as being for them, both in the dash and under the hood.

Can anyone tell me which fuses really cover these functions on a 2002?

1. The instrument cluster
2. The radio
3. The always-on memory current to the radio
4. The amp for the radio (I think I have that option)

Navigatin1, thanks! That is the test I'm going to use.

But I'd like to test the most likely things first, that's why I'd like more info on which fuses cover these functions.

no real options back in 2002 for radios and they were not know for parasitic amp draw.

2002 is only year like it is things changed in 2003 with more computers.

SO I would start in one corner and work your way down to opposite corner.
