2002 Prices

What are people seeing as prices on loaded 2002 1500 2wd AV.

I see that carsdirect is also showing a special incentive from manufacture to dealer, along with the 2002 rebate, plus 500 more if you are coming out of a GMC, Buick, etc.

That's not really out of line - I think that is essentially dealer invoice - $2002 rebate which is what most dealers are selling them for here in the Atlanta area if you go through their "Internet Managers."

Bill Heard is not liked in Florida. They were just fined over $300,000 for deceptive trade practices. They still add a $2-$3k "market demand" over the MSRP.

Local dealerships are offering base models for $23,250 - $24,250.
It's the end of the quarter and the base models are not selling well in my area. Most everyone wants a loaded Z71.
I'd offer $500 below invoice NOT counting the $2002 rebate. If its been on the lot for a while, they'll deal.

If anyone wants a white base model w/ bucket seats, there is one I know of that has been on the dealer lot since JUNE. Sounds like haggle heaven if you love to play that game, and this dealer loves the game. I almost purchased it, but did not want white and ended going to another lot.

A lot of the dealers in the MInneapolis/St. Paul area here will "volume discount" there fleet of new cars/trucks. A loaded Z71 1500 Av at my dealership was 38,076. They usually mark them down with the "volume discount" to around 35k. With incentives and rebates, I got my loaded Z71 for 29,995 I believe - about a 9k savings.

Hi I got a Z-71 with sport leather seats , a bug sheild and bed extender with 0 miles for $29712 in western MA.
