Sorry I very rarely post but can usually find what I need by coming here.
I have an issue I can't figure out concerning LED lights on my 2002 Avalanche.
I have installed LED lights (3157) for the brake light, turn signal and marker light and installed a 50 Watt 8ohm load resistor between the turn signal wire (blue wire) and ground wire (black) The bulb that has the resistor installed is the turn signal bulb.
Turn signals work as intended with no hyper flash UNTIL you turn on the headlights and then all turn signal lights get hyper flash.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
From what I have read I still need to install a resistor on the passenger side brake light for the cruise control to work but this shouldn't effect the hyper flashing of the turn signals.
I have LED lights for my DRL and turn signals (and they have resistors installed) as well as LED headlights for a couple of years now and haven't had any issues.
I also have LED reverse lights without any resistors on them and they work fine.
I have done the mod that all four headlight come on when HI lights are used.
Thanks in advance and let me know if you need anymore details on what I did or didn't do right as I'm stumped

Problem solved.
After I posted I did some more searching and finally asked the right question and was sent in another direction.
Apparently, there are LED flashers out there to replace the OEM one that allow LED bulbs to work without any resistors.
The one for mine is made by Novita Part #EP29 and can be purchased at most major auto parts stores for $16.99
It is located on the backside of the left instrument panel fuse/relay box and is easier to get to if you remove the instrument cluster bezel and then the drivers knee bolster.
Plugged new flasher in turned on ignition on hit turn signal and no hyper flash!
Turned on lights hit turn signal no hyper flash.
Started removing resistors on the rear turn signal bulbs one by one and still no hyper flash.
Removed the resistor from the passenger side brake light and went for a drive and no cruise control so the only resistor I needed for the rear was on the brake light.
