Bought this light from Orielleys, not sure on the part number but can find out. It's advertised for bed/cargo area light but I figured I needed a light under the hood instead. Played around awhile to find a good spot that wouldn't get hit when hood is closed and offer light all over the engine. I liked this spot but it was kinda tricky because behind the insulation where I actually screwed it in is on the curve of the metal underneath. I folded the insulation down and made punch marks to drill guide holes for the screws (I used different screws that didn't come with the kit). I drilled the holes then folded insulation back up and started playing pin the screw on the avalanche through the insulation. Everything worked out and no holes in the top of the hood so I suppose that's a good thing. Got some pics of the placement and where the switch is and also hood open during dusk/night and then with light on. Enjoy.
