Trying to find replacement headlight options for a 2004 WBH.  Bought a set through Amazon... one of them wouldn't adjust. Bought a set through ebay...Wouldn't adjust enough.

Needing new housings, not opposed to projector housings, already has HIDs.  I'm wanting a good quality housing that isn't going to break or pissed me off even more than I already am over these lights.

Links would be great if you have them. Google isn't helpful this time.

That's what I usually do when searching for WBH anything. I've found that something Silverado will be cheaper that something listed only for an Avalanche, even if it's the exact same thing.

There is tons of crap, just crap, available.  I'm scared to purchase a third set because of my luck with the first two.

Look for DOT approved molded into lenses before buying...

Some small assurance they are just a but better than crap... maybe the air above the crap.

Just a thought maybe you could consider adding quality driving lights/fog lights to stock headlights to get the increased illumination you want without dealing with aftermarket headlights?

Any suggestions?

I'd really like to find a bulb replacement for the factory driving lights.

That would be an option but the lights really cracked and  have moisture in them.

I have left my factory lights stock but in the past have added quality lights to a bull bar or on a bumper.there are many brands out now and lots of choices. AirJunky several members in the past have tried increased lighting in stock factory driving light housings with mixed results. Silver Star stared out with good reviews but many found they burned out quicker then stock bubs. Others tried higher wattage bulbs and they found the sockets would melt and cause problems. Not sure if a replacement was ever found to work well with stock mounts, sockets or reflectors.
Now it seems like LED light bars mounted above the bumper behind the grille is becoming popular.

Currently it has HIDs in the stock housings.  No complaints with the light quality or output. Just need housings that don't leak and aren't scratched from years of having covers installed.

Bummer, maybe you ca get a deal on stock housings at www.gmpartsdirect.com , I have bought stuff from them and saved a ton of money in the past.

Yea, I have a 24" LED light bar on a bull bar already. But their illegal on the road. I was thinking something you can use with the headlights on the street.

lol. just watching this thread since you all are discussing my truck  (y)

The headlight housing looks pretty good, just a bit scratched from AVS covers over the years. But...the bumper lights housing is shot. The silver backing is burnt from years of silverstar DRLs and there are cracks which let moisture in which is super ugly. Love the look of the two smoked sets we tried but yeah..they were crap and one side (driver's) couldnt be adjusted (on both sets)...

Finding some OEM bumper lights would be an option if anyone has a set laying around...

LOL I had to ask Bad B when did he get another AV. There is not much out there for the cladded AV either that fit worth a crap.
