The award should go to Z66 Butch... over 2000 miles clocked in gtg travel this sept alone.....

We need to talk him into going to Laughlin! Get out of that Indiana snow!

2005 AV Road Runner Award

The 2003 Award winner that traveled the most round trip to all GTG's was mmdavidw.

Had a 2004 Award been established, a member from Indiana, New Jersey and Tennessee would likely be on the road every week in December attending GTG's to determine the 2004 winner.

Thanks for all your comments and suggestions for a 2004 AV Road Runner Award. ?Should we have a 2004 AV Road Runner Award winner?

Earthquake's 9629 miles seems pretty good to me.  I would guess Butch did about 5 or 6 thousand on his trip out west.  I don't know of him doing any more big trips.

I just found this thread. Here is what we figured for 2004, it's just a Mapquest guess. I never kept good records for the year. These are not in order and are just the ones that we can remember:

Kalamazoo, MI                GTG - 414MI

French Lick, IN                  GTG - 298MI

Dundee, MI                      GTG - 464MI

Quaker Stake and Lube
Beavercreek, OH              GTG - 206MI

Paris Landing, TN              GTG - 832MI

Hot Chickens
Nashville, TN                      GTG - 648MI

Millington Chevy
Millingtion, TN                    GTG - 1004MI

Little Rock, AR                    GTG - 1258MI

Southern Regionals
Canyon, TX
Mega Meet
Irvine, CA                      2 GTG's - 5860MI

Fishers, IN
Eat & Greets                5 GTG's - 220MI

TOTAL                                    11,204 Miles

Plus we had two GTG's here at the house this year. The 4th of July parade and the Lighted Sail Panel GTG. I did not add any miles for cruises at these GTG's it is just the total round trip miles to get there and back home!

So far this year we have been to one of the Fishers Eat & Greets. We have a plan to go to WV to a state park and the Easteran Regionals. Others will follow I am sure!

I think that Avalance is way up there if not leading the way.? I think he just broke 100K miles on his AV.? Most of them I think are for GTGs across the Pacific Northwest.? I think he tacks on +500 miles for each GTG just driving to the GTG... not including any milage for the actual Cruise!

I doubt that LAnce has actually tracked his miles but I bet that 60k + are for GTG's

My guess is that 100k was for FUN  ;D

Yeah I have put alot of miles on my AV I just turned 110,800 today, I have gone to many Portland GTG (at least 1 time per month) I am going to Portland again this weekend to make it the 2nd trip to Portland this month then back again at the end of the month for the Auto Show GTG, I have gone to 3-4 meets In Seattle, I have gone to Wild West 2002 which went in to Nor Cal. ?that is all I can think of right now. ?I have put 10,000 miles on my AV since Oct. Alot of them have been to Portland for GTG's Like Dan Said 100K of pure Avalanche FUN

La Grande to Portland Round Trip ~ 514 miles X 2-3 Trips per month

La Grande to Seattle Round Trip ~ 670 Miles X 3-4 trips

La Grande to Coast Cruise Round Trip ~ 714 Miles X 4 trips

La Grande to WW2002 Round Trip ~ 1,500 Miles X 1

So I have put an Est. 50,000-60,000 miles on my AV going to GTG but they were all worth it

i think there are some contenders in this category with the SBN, Macon, TN nationals, and the mod gtg's like macon, church st., sourmash jax, the beast feast and some people got miles!
