Well,  After being an original owner of Big Red LS1500 for 98,000 original miles she has a new home and I have down sized to a new 2019 XLT Ford Ranger 2.3 Turbo.

Has all the bells and whistles one could ever want.  I sure hope it comes with the staid reliability I had with my 05 Avalanche.  I sold it privately for $9000 USD to a family who needed to haul the kids.  I never even used the back seat but to carry Costco Groceries.  Thanks for all I learned here.  Long live the King Avalanche.

As people have said for years here, you don't have to have an AV to join or remain here....just a love for the AV and hopefully for the relationships that were formed as a member.
May you have many happy and safe miles in your new truck.

That was a fair price-
-My 2002 Avalanche found a new home this year, too. I couldn't justify 13 mpg for a retirement runabout vehicle. It was easy to sell- 2 days on Facebook. I wish I could have been able to buy my Avalanche back when it was new.  I was a lot younger and RV camping a lot back then.
I bought a 2005 Honda Element, which is another niche vehicle that has a dedicated owner base, like the Avalanche.

Well, after a year without my big red AV and owning a Ford Ranger for 1 year I still love my ranger but MISS the size of the AV but love the zippy go cart handling of the new Ranger 2.3 turbo. Hope to proves to be as reliable.
