2006 NCAGTG Attendees who have completed registration

I believe Todd (amd1900mp) posted at the beginning that all spots go to out of state-rs first cause most of the AZ trucks have already been there once.

hey bad mojo we are leaving the same day as you but we get about a 180 mile head start. where are you staying Friday night. i was going to stop in El Paso but right before i was going to make reservations a member form here got his brand new av stolen from there and alot of members say its bad around that area so we are gonna get as far as we can on Fri then stop what are your plans as far as Fri go
 
even those who won't be able to attend, please at least take a moment and at least purchase a shirt, etc.  keep in mind, monies raised to help go to a good cause.  let's show our support.

looks good johnv mine might look that good when i leave Texas but after i drive the 900 miles to get there I'm sure i will need a car wash very badly and that sucks!

We always drive straight through. It's about a 15 hour haul but we enjoy doing it. If we get too tired (usually happens on the way back to Dallas) we'll stop outside of El Paso, but never in El Paso itself. Beautiful city but I don't want to get my car/truck jacked.

On Friday we will be leaving the Dallas area around 4am so we beat morning rush hour.

Generally, when we drive to AZ we drive straight thru to San Manuel (outside of Tucson).
We will stay the night there with the wife's family and then drive out to Phoenix sometime Saturday morning. Probably hit Phoenix around noon or so.

Tell you what though, since ya'll are planning on stopping for the night and will get a head start on us anyway then we can possibly meet up for dinner or something (depending on when ya'll decide to stop).

My cell number is 214-529-5893. Go ahead and program me into your phone and give me a shout when you guys hit a stopping point and we'll see about meeting up for a bite to eat or something depending on where everyone is at, blah blah blah.

Of course, depending on how the day goes we may decide to stop for the night anyway. So it'll be good to stay in touch with another AV'er on the road. Then if we need to stop we can just find ya'll and stay at the same place.

I just registered and made my reservations for the HQ hotels in both Phoenix and Flagstaff! :D Unfortunately I will have to depart from Flagstaff on the 21st, :6: but the following weekend was planned way back last year.

Even worse, I've got to leave here on my birthday and drive three days to get to Phoenix on the 17th. :C: I was actually planning on celebrating my 44th, but what the heck, I'll take the hit for my AV! :B:

Looking forward to seeing lots of AVs and fellow members! :cheers:

Which route are you taking? If you happen to be in the Sacramento area early Saturday morning, you can hook up with our carAVan. Should be 4 or more Avs heading south from here.

If not, see you there!!!
 
Just curious, what is the number of actual Avalanches registered, not number of people?  This may sway my decision.
