Hi all,

I have an 07 Avalanche LTZ 4x4, and I'm trying to find a 6" lift that will not bypass the factory autoride.

Currently I have a 2.5" body lift and a 2.5" leveling lift. I have 34" tires on 22" wheels, but I picked up a set of 20" rockstars Im going to paint white and throw some 37s or 38s on.

The only lift kit I can find is this the Fabtech Tahoe & Suburban 1500 6" Lift AutoRide # K1018

For around $2200 + ship. Any other options?

Superlift, Rancho, and I think CST all had lifts back a few years ago that keep factory autoride. There should be a bunch more now. You can't get bigger than 35s on because of the fender/door jam area right behind the front wheel unless you are ready to tear into a bunch of metal. The wheel wells just are not wide enough. And there is a whole lot more you need to do to your truck with 37/38s on, not sure you would want the factory shocks with that option, even with 35s, ditch the autoride and go with a nice mid to longtravel suspension setup from Camburg or something similiar with a nice 10" resivour shock. If I were to do it all over again thats the route I would go.

Thanks for the reply. Obviously you were the member I figured would have the most experience or knowledge on this situation. You have a superlift setup, K825, correct? I havnt really found anything better than the McGaughys 50735, which is a 7" Autoride kit for $1900 delivered.

Do you have body lift highflyin? I love how smooth the autoride is, I'd hate to lose it and I dont want a christmas tree on the dash.

I'd go with the McGaughys, and put 35s on it. Yes I have a body lift, but still could not clear 37s. No you don't lose the autoride or get any lights.

If I got the 7" autoride lift, plus my 2" zone body lift, and added 2" rear coil spacers and kept my 2" front leveling lift, I should be able to clear 37" correct?

I'd stay away from a leveling kit with a suspension lift, I'm not a fan of them or spacers anyway because you mess with the a-arm angles and limit wheel travel quite a bit as your upper a-arm will be so close to the bumpstop. If you combine the lift kit, leveling kit, spacers, etc you are throwing in a lot of weak links imho, then you are trying to add the huge weight of 37s while keeping your factory ltz shocks designed for the stock vehicle... (if you go that big there are better shocks (10") that will give you a better ride). You'll need better brakes, and new gearing with 37s.

You won't be able to clear 37s because of the width, (front to back) of the wheel well, but would love to see 37s on it, done the right way. Seems you may be going just for looks vs off-road/driving functionality, so it may work, just not the safest or best for your vehicle.

Again, its your truck, do what you want... some shops will sell you anything. Still would love to see someone fit 37s on their truck. Best of luck!

Hey I'm new here I just recently got an 08 avy ltz with auto ride and I am looking into lift I am looking towards doing what you did with like the leveling kit spacers for front and rear to lift it 2-3 inches did you have any issues or have to modify anything?

I have a 2007 ltz with autoride but I can't seem to find any lift kits for anything other than 4x4s and I don't have 4x4... any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

How many "Body Mounts" does the 2007 Avalanche have?
I have read 8 then I read 10 and now I read 12, see my confusion. I would not mind getting an inch more on height.
Also on Ebay they sell a 12 mount set with washers for $332.33. Ebay also sells an 8 mount set with washers for $64.99
If I buy two $64.99 sets it would be cheaper than $332.33 and have 4 for spares.
