Hey Fuz, if your down around Chicago in the near future Eastwood has a shop in Alsip on Cicero AV. It's just off 294 south side of Chicago. They carry real good products including POR15.

Thanks for the tips guys. Ebay has the POR 15 kit too and since I'm already setup on there I will buy that to try.

Just looking to buy a little more time before I need to strip the truck down and get it done properly. Wife, house(s), 2 kids, 3 vehicles, working full time, and other hobbies it is hard to put some more money into this right now.

We took some black out of the paint mix and sprayed a white base coat on the parts to lighten/brighten the finish. Last time we sprayed this color for my snugtop it came out just a tad dark. Close is close enough for me right now.

Those came out so good!!! Excited to see them on the truck, its going to give it a whole new look  (y)

I'm pretty excited about it too. I have not seen another 2007 Bermuda blue avalanche with this style of door trim because it wasn't offered then.

It will look way better than the faded and peeling door guards.

The best part is it will have the look of a 2009+ because of the style of door guard. Adds just a little bit of chrome.

Was 2007 the only year that bermuda blue was offered?

I (THINK) it was available in 05,06,07,... Those are the three years I am sure of

It's killing me too!

I just thought today that my truck is 100% daily driver in the winter, I'm probably not going to install these until spring!  :E: :9: (n)

Installed my new steering wheel last week, I've never had a new steering wheel. A place that no one has touched before. My hands only. No one elses snot rockets and grubby paws have touched. Feels great!

My "new to me" 08 LT has some gnarly wear spots on the steering wheel.  Was it hard to replace it?  Kinda leery about working around the air bag.   What did it cost for the new wheel?  New radio & cruise control switches as well?

Very easy to replace. Unhook + side of battery gor a few minutes. Follow youtube videos. Couple push locks for the airbag, wire connectors, steering wheel nut, and reverse order. Makes you feel good holding a new steering wheel.

Scored some LED smoked tails on epay. I wasn't looking for any really because I wanted maybe an EXT set eventually but I know those aren't LED.

I took a chance, they were cheap enough to try. I think the brand is Philips and I really didn't want them to look too 'cholo' if you know what I mean. Aftermarket tails can really ruin the look of your ride.

I'm happy to say that they look pretty damn nice and pleasantly surprised!  (y) I think I would still rather have tail lights with a red lens cover, not clear but these will do for now.

I had clear lenses before I smoked them, I found it doesn't take as much to make a clear lens look black over a red one so you don't lose as much output.  (y)

My list of suspension/steering OEM parts I am looking for is getting shorter and shorter!

I have been on the hunt for marked down (50%-75%) OEM parts for over a year. All the expensive parts are bought and a few 20-$30 parts left I might just buckle down and buy so I have them all.

The rust hole is getting bigger and the door guard on the passenger front door has peeled back about 4". I can't wait for spring to get working on it again for these cosmetic issues.

Hey Fuz, I replaced the rear control arms with a more solid box tube style and put a bigger solid sway bar, the difference is incredible.

I will eventually upgrade the sway bars but will stick with OEM on the other parts only because I know they are built for 100k+ miles. Thanks for the info  (y)

Looks great as always. Your always taking it to the next level with your tasteful mods.
