I have a small problem with the steering on this truck.

At 60-70+ on the freeway, I have to constantly steer in small increments. I know this is rack and pinon steering, but it drives me crazy.
I just had the alignment done and they went full spec on the castor and found no worn suspension components. Am I just experiencing
the norm for this vehicle or what could be the problem?
Air ride shocks or ? I only have 80,000 miles on it.
Thanks for any help.

Tire air pressure maybe ?

I have a similar issue as well. However, my auto-ride was replaced with a full FOX race series suspension. I have a slight pull to the right when driving at speeds above 50 mph. took mine to a local 4WP (4 Wheel Parts) to have them do a complete inspection on my suspension and lift. They tightened and greased all that was applicable. After, I went to get an alignment and they made a correction to castor. But, it still gives a pull to the right. Tires look good. I have no idea what else could be causing it. Shop could also not advise on what was causing it.

My girl has a range rover. Put some 24" wheels on it. Took it to the dealer for alignment and everything came back perfect. Dealer test drove and could only think that it was tire design causing it lol.

I have adopted the same notion lol. Makes me feel better for the time being

...oh, and tire pressure is good.

You can try a couple of thing.
Measure from the top of the front wheelwell to ground on both sides they should be within .55 inch.

Rotate the front tires side to side.

Since you have only 80 k these aren't the original tires are they. ?
