I think I remember seeing signs for this when coming across Tenn on I40. www.musclecarmuseum.com/

Put me plus 3 down as maybe.  Gonna try and squeeze some more leave out of my company for then.  Hope I can get it too because we plan on trying to go to Disney World in April since I can get in free for 5 days.

Hey guys just talked about it today and my girlfriend and I will be making the trek down from western Maryland  (y) . I am pumped to meet some members for sure I am the only CAFCNA member from this area  :needhug: . Anyone know some fun stuff we can do down that way we might stay for a week and make it a vacation. And also any reccomendations on where we should stay at?

TCG and I used to live in Frederick, MD... we moved to San Antonio from there.  What a great drive!  I would recommend trying to hook up with others on the way if the timing works out.  It is always better to drive with other AVs!!  (y)

We will have a full week of events planned and other sightseeing options and attractions lined up here in San Antonio... stay tuned!  We are also in the process of negotiating discounted room rates at a great hotel.

We look forward to meeting you and your GF.

JJ

I think it needs to be updated again..  >:D

I put in for my vacation that week-hasn't been approved but I'm 99% sure it won't be a problem. Put me down as a maybe. My friends lives in Santa Fe and it'd be great to see them again. Depends on gas prices too :E: Hopefully they will be down by then.

Going to talk my brother-n-law to make the trip too (no AV) but the Tahoe wares the badge  (y)

EXCELLENT!  Used to live in Maryland myself.  We have made that trip many times.  Not sure about good stopping places...

JJ, suggestions?

There may be a carAVan in the works  in Nashville...  :dunno:

Count Myself and 2 more in. Not sure how many days, but we will make it for at least the first weekend, and maybe the 24th and 25th. We only live 3 hours from the event.

vacation approved-put me on the list!

Really wanted to go to this, but have to have back surgery Friday 1-16-09, be off work for 3 - 6 months, not sure if I'll have any vacation time left or be able to travel that far, but I'll still try.
Really wanted to see some old friends.

Ummm, Rahn... Yeah, your not allowed to NOT come

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make the drive down.  It's just too far.  According to Google, it's over 2000 miles each way  (n)

I hope everyone has fun down there though!  Would have loved to go.
