Each Avalanche owner at your event should acknowledge the Hold Harmless Form and sign it. Feel free to print them and have some available at your event.

Should we be printing this out and sending it somewhere, or will this be something that we take care of there?

What are the risks of this GTG? I cant agree to something I don't know about. What type of area is this gtg in? If I'm gonna show up and sign that then please fill me in.

I agree, more info is needed. I have been to a few larger GTG's and Nationals in the past, and don't recall ever having to sign one. Unless it was somewhere in teeny tiny fine print on my registration form I sent with my payment.

I have had members sign this type of agreement at the larger modding events. You just agree that you will not sue anyone for anything that happens to you or your truck at the event. You are in charge of what happens, just don't sue if it doesn't come out right.

Every National event that CAFCNA has sanctioned used the waiver.

Like Butch mentioned..

Not saying this would happen... but say someone went psycho and took a bat to someones truck??? They are waiving the rights to be compensated? I'm confused I think.

It looks to me more towards any MODDING on someone's AVY!!!! So if another member accidently breaks something :beating:,while modding, they are not responsible!!  (y)

That's part of it, also like riding your truck on the dunes, if you jump off of a dune doing 60mph and brake or wreck your truck it is your fault not CAFCNA or the organizers of this GTG.

Umm, durr?  CAFCNA just organizes the event, doesn't tell anyone what to do or how to do it so why would they be held responsible. That makes sense. What i think ppl are asking is if an "accident" occurred, would the individual still be held accountable and responsible or is that waived also? The question might seem obvious to some ppl but not as obvious, clear and simple to others.
