Hi all,

It is time to have a GTG to plan our activities and calendar for next year.
We have had a great year this year  :love: and want to keep the ball rolling well into next year.

So, Here it is:
Nov. 11, 2010   7:00 PM
Godfathers Pizza in Carriage Square 4100 South Redwood Road ???

So, Bring
1. Your calendar for next year.

Weeknight evenings are bad for me until lawn care is over, through the end of October. Weekends work except for Oct 9-10th and 23-24th. Last two RV trips.

:jacked: Along the note of RV... If anyone knows someone that might be interested in my 3 year old, 25' travel trailer let me know. We found one we would love to upgrade to if we can sell ours for what we owe on it.  :jacked: Now back to your regularly scheduled program...

Other than that let us know which date and we will be there!!  (y)

How about veterans day!  Thursday November 11th at a restaurant for a super supper time gtg planning gtg?  ???
 
As I am going to be in Colorado for this Thanksgiving and not here for Black friday  :cry:, That should work for me.
We could find a place that has a group room. I know that the Godfathers Pizza in West Valley has one that we can reserve for free. They have the pizza buffet as well. it is like 7 bucks or something like that.

Alright everyone. This is a very inportant GTG. We want everyone to get involved in the planning of our major activities for next year. This seems to attract higher turnouts. And you know what they say, The more the merrier. But on the other hand if you do not come to the GTG or at least email us the ideas you have, we may not be doing what interests you. Please either sign up or send us your ideas. This is your club. Make it yours. Lets make 2011 the best club year ever.

I would like to second what Chris has said. Chris and myself are here to coordinate your activities. This does not mean that we necessarily are the ones that plan out what events we hold. That is where you the Utah Chapter member come in. Most of our GTG's throughout the year are all about fun. This one is simply about work. I would dare say that it is the single most important GTG of the year. If you have ideas for GTG's you would like to see we need to hear about it. If you have been unhappy with the kinds of GTG's we have been having we need to hear about it. If we don't hear from you, all we can do is put together a schedule of what we think will be enjoyable for the club as a whole. Basically just guess. The club will be much better off with everyone's input. Attendance at GTG's has been way down lately and we need to know why if we are to make the club stronger. So please come to the GTG and give us your input or at least take a minute to post and let us know what is on your mind. With that information Chris and myself can coordinate your ideas into a great year of activities.

Hmmm,  I forgot the 11th is veterans day.  I can get free food at Chilis and at Applebees.......Anyway

do you want our photos what size do you want them and howmany do you want?  Who is bringing the caleender?  What happens when you eat alot of jalapeno pizza?  Buffett is from 5 - 8 pm

I was going to post about location options anyway so Kent you gave me the reason to do it.

Dining extravaganza #1

If I understand correctly Chris has reserved the group room at Godfather's. Well the three of us and whoever we bring with us are going to look pretty silly in the group room by ourselves...  Solution - I am sure we could just sit in a couple of normal booths if our group doesn't justify the group room.

Dining extravaganza #2

We could go to Chilli's or Applebee's. Benefit - Better food, and of course, Kent eats free!! Problems - Sitting together may be more of an issue, talking there will be next to impossible. Solution - Dine there and then cruise to my place for the meeting.

Dining extravaganza #3

Meet at my place for delivered or Papa Murphy's pizza.

My ideas, your call....

I will plan on being there tomorrow.  (y)  I am fine with whatever the rest of you guys decide on where to go and what to eat.  I'm not picky!  I can find something at where ever is chosen.  But, if I had to choose between Applebees and Chillies I would take Chillies. 
 
Great ideas everyone. I agree that if we choose the Applebye's or Chili's route we will need to do the planning elseware.
I agree chili's over applebye's.
It will just be me. No wife or kids this time. So the room may be a little much based on the interest we are seeing at this time.
I will cancel the room but we can still go there and just get a table together.
I also like the Papa murphys idea.
I will look back here tomorrow to find out what everyone has decided.
 
I feel Chili's and Applebee's will both be filled and long waiting lists.....So in respect to my military career I will eat lunch there tomorrow or maybe both places hmmmmmmm,  like i need it.  Sooooooooooooooooooo the 6.99 buffett is still good for me at Godfathers.  I do love that pizza.  If the room is free what the heck why not use it for the six of us?  I know Mrs UtahAv and Mrs. Trafficman will be accompanininnnnggg us, what ever that word was........ummm ok I am dragging this on a little bit toooooooo much now.  I'm just cold and my fiinnnnnngers sshhhhhiver once innnn awhillle why'l I type.  Did I ever mention I hate winter?  Just give me a TV, heat, a Blanket, and Pizza Hut delivery from mid November to mid april and I'll be happy.

We meet at Godfathers Pizza as planned. The Buffett is open till 8:00 and we can get stuffed. Then I still kept the room. We have it till 9:00.
