2011 rear step bumper

Coincidentally I spend hours yesterday poring over GM parts lists trying to figure this out. I've also posted in every thread on this subject.

My conclusion is that the bumper is essentially the same fitment as 2000-2006 GM SUVs like Tahoes, Suburbans, Yukons, and Escalades. 2003-2006 non-cladded Avalanches too. They should all fit 2007-2013 Avalanches.

If you're going aftermarket, the choices are slim.
Only three companies I've found market a bumper they say will fit an '07-'13 Avalanche: Move, Iron bull, and Buckstop. Only Move seems to have steps. Move bumpers are sold as kits you gotta weld together yourself.
Several Other companies make Rear bumpers for 2000-2006 GM SUVs, but Hammerhead is the only one I've seen with steps.

Trying to get Bodyguard Armor to make one as what they have intrigues me. https://www.bodyguardbumpers.com/new-product-requests/

Hit a deer this weekend and want a steel bumper. Love if we had more options or I could find one used.

Honestly you might just want to look in your area for a fab shop that does trucks and other offroad toys if what's available isnt suiting your needs. depending on what you're looking for aesthetically, it might not be hard for them to make you something.

Of course, cost is the question there. But you do have choices if it's something they want to do, you can add or omit features you want or don't need.

Such shops might also be happy to do the labor and weld a kit together for you. Which might increase your options. Hell, if you get a real steel bumper, it really shouldnt be hard to add some sort of step if you wanted it. even if it was a loop of steel bar or something.

It's rare to find an accessory used for these. You have to get lucky or come across it in an auction/ junk yard.

I actually found someone local with an iron bull for $900. That might be the starting point and then weld the "brush guard" pieces on. Thanks for the ideas.
