I have decided that it is time to say goodbye to my 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 LTZ 4x4 (60k miles). As much as I love the truck resell / trade prices are way up and it is time for a change.
So far the dealers have offered me less than what KBB says it is worth. I am planning on ordering so that may be the cause.
What bothers me somewhat though is that they don't know how special the Avalanche is. None of them knew about the book that came with the 2013's for example. I still have everything that came with it, even the white gloves for the jack handle. The rear seat DVD hardware was never even used and is still in its bubble wrap.
If I trade the sales tax is calculated after that so it could save me a couple thousand.
So should I trade it or wait till my order comes in and try to private sale it then? If I do trade it should I keep the book?
