2013 Worldwide Chevy Avalanche Get Together - EVENTS SCHEDULE

Grumpy .... I'm thinking Lasertron .... is Laser Tag? ...

Correct! <link>

But there's also a lot more there: <link>

It's been a few years since I've been there to play the laser tag, and it looks like they've revamped it quite a bit since then. They also added the go-kart track and mini-golf course since I've been there. The ancillary activities change from time to time, but the main laser tag field has been there bread and butter for years, and has been constantly evolving.

It should be a good experience for all, young and old.

It has been a while.

I noticed that there is fireworks every Friday night over the Falls.  GBT and I have seen them in the past and they are pretty good.  Something else to do after dinner on Friday.

I and my AV are looking forward to this. I am coming from central Illinois so if someone wants to meet and caravan over that would be cool. I also have booked a room at the hotel that has two beds so if someone wants to split the room rate that would be fine as well. Just no snoring lol. I am a bit nervous about the length of the trip and meeting everyone but this looks like a good time so I said what the heck. I'm in. happy Fourth of July everybody!

Sounds good.

Looking like a LOT of fun..  Some of those places are bringing back great memories..
If you like wings, you HAVE to try Duffs, its on the corner of Millersport, and Sheridan..  Its one of the best places there..  But keep in mind primetime hours it will be tough to find parking..

If anyone is looking for a good Car Wash after their road trip to Nationals I have included a link to local Hand Car Washes.

https://maps.google.ca/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=hand+car+wash+amherst+ny&fb=1&gl=ca&hq=hand+car+wash&hnear=0x89d3724da88354b3:0xd481fd9c25afd0ad,Amherst,+NY,+USA&ei=UHvoUe-1O8PvqQGY4YHIBg&ved=0CIcBELYD

Clean Machines and L.J.'s look pretty good and they have decent prices for a true hand wash.

There is also a drive-through tunnel car wash on Niagara Falls Boulevard, a mile South of the host hotel.

Delta Sonic Car Wash

There are no spinning brushes up against the side of your truck, but it does have the soft cloth fingers that drag over the top of the truck. If you are totally obsessed with your truck (as are so many CAFCNA members) you probably recoiled in horror about that, and you will be better off at one of the hand wash locations. But they've always done a great job on my truck, and I don't have scratches running the length of the truck, even though I've used them often. (Just don't get the cheapest level of wash, or you will get the spinning brushes on the side - make sure you get one of the "Touch-Less" options.) Delta Sonic is the only drive-through tunnel wash I will use.

They're not just a drive-through wash, they offer a full range of services: from interiors and hand-applied wax, all the way up to a full detail shop (although you should have an appointment for a full detail and plan on leaving it all day.)

Not to change the subject but who is going to Martin's Fantasy Island and who loves to ride rollercoaster's? Have any of you been there and how are their coasters? I plan on riding a few rides but on most of them I will be alone unless one of you want to join me...............

If I remember right there are only 2 coasters.
First is built like the the game mouse trap. Small foot print lots of twists and turns single cars etc.
the other is a western ny legend. It's called the comet. Older wooden coaster that a lot if us grew up riding.
I can't think of any other coasters.

Devils hole is wild as its a ride that rotates quickly as you stand on the wall. Before you know it the floor drops out and you are still spinning.

It's a great small park and is no means like a six flags etc
