Apples to Oranges. After reading the article the whole way through, they clearly state two different methods of using the dyno. Lots of other variables in there. Temperature in the booth, elevation, humidity. That's why there's also correction factors involved. I wouldn't get too excited about it until you buy one and test it the same way GM test theirs.

You know I'm not going to buy one, that would be a senior moment way past a midlife crisis.

Case in point a 2019 ZR1 does a quarter mile in 10.8-seconds at 133.1 MPH with 755 horsepower, no way did GM not underrate the horse power on the 2020
