Ok, having some issues trying to get someone to dogsit...
We have a teenie little Yorkie (7 whole lbs) and trying to figure out what to do with her when we come down. Does anyone know if any of the locations are pet friendly? We are currently planning to stay Friday night only since my GF's mother lives 3 hours away. Could possibly end up staying Saturday night too depending on what happens between now and then. But for sure Friday night.

We are unsure now what days I am going to stay at a hotel.. I plan to be there both Friday and Saturday but my GF and her mom had a not so nice discussion on the phone so we are still trying to figure out what days we will be in Georgia and what days we will be in Tennessee assuming we still go to Georgia.
So I will definitely need a hotel room Friday night but maybe Thursday and maybe Saturday as well...
My GF emailed the host hotel to see if they are "pet friendly" or not.
So in the next week or two we will be getting more serious about looking for somewhere that will not complain if we have our 7lb Yorkie with us...

They've been very supportive of us! They seem excited to have us, and it seems like a GREAT place to stay!

Have since found someone to board our "daughter" with and have booked at the Tennessee Mountain Lodge for 5 nights.. Coming down on Wed night to make it to town Thur morning and leaving the Following Tuesday Morning.
Hope this hotel is decent.. Just need a place to place our heads...

Really. Well that's no excuse. Everyone loves a raffle to benefit a charity.james21 said:

Did we forget about last year? It seems that every Nationals that I have attended there has been a raffle for charity. Last year Didit headed it up and we raised over $1400 + gathered 514 pounds of food for The Salvation Army Food Pantry. Here is the thank you letter that Didit posted after the Nationals last year:

The raffle last year in Madison was great! There was a ton of stuff that was given away, and I remember walking out with some pretty awesome stuff myself!

I'm pretty certain I'll be able to come now! We're still waiting to hear if the boyfriend will be able to come with though.
But I'm only going to be able to stay 1 night, 2 days. I'm thinking I'll get there Friday afternoon sometime, and stay til Saturday afternoon. Have a wedding reception to go to that night..
I'm crossing my fingers that I'll have a new speaker box by then, so of course I'll be showing off. But I have a small request for one of you sweet folks! One of my saddle bags doesn't latch properly and someone (I forgot who, or on what thread) told me it was just a little pin & it could be fixed...if I come to Nationals. Well, I'm coming so who's fixing?!
