I tend to agree with you YGMN its about the utility of the AV and the cladding was a plus.

When I was in the market for a full size truck the number one requirement was it had to be able to hold a 4x8 sheet of drywall or plywood so it was a AV or a Yukon XL. The cladding has saved body work plenty of times once someone left a flatbed cart at Lowes against the truck that I did not notice another time when a took the front end off of a Malibu that did not stop for a stop sign.

Now on the other hand my 08 EXT is nice its the only year I would buy 6.2 L92 with no DOD and a heavy duty 6l90e 6 speed tranny.

But the 2019 Sierra has changed the game BAM, hopefully it's make the bed over 8 feet.

There is a reason why sells dropped off after 2003 when they started to look like a Silverado. It lost it's identity.

The 03 was the the first year WBH and they sold the most. The drop came after chevy started making true half ton crew cabs that wern't 1500HD...

Hey Bud, I was trying to drop down there while you were home but the holidays prevented that from happening.

I'll leave Japan sometime summer 2020 but I might make a trip on for x-mas
